In the prototype, “Send to QuickBooks” marks the order invoiced and records a made-up invoice number so you can walk the whole flow end to end. Connecting the real account swaps that one step for an actual invoice in QBO — customers, parts and prices map straight across, and nothing else about how you work changes.

About this prototype
Everything in here is made-up demo data — invented parts, customers and a simulated year of history so the reports have something to show. None of it came from SSI’s books. When the QuickBooks file arrives it replaces the catalog and customer list wholesale.
To start over with fresh demo data, stop the app and run npm run db:reset.
